Norwich Senior Kyle Przekaza Named NSCAA Scholar Athlete
Norwich University men's soccer player Kyle Przekaza was named to the NSCAA Scholar All-East second team it was announced this week. The award goes to student-athletes who have excelled in both athletics and academics.
Przekaza, a senior from Northfield, Vt., was a stalwart along the Norwich backfield this past season, helping lead the Cadets to an 18-3-1 record. In the classroom, Przekaza is an athletic training major with a 3.87 grade point average (GPA).
"This is a great achievement by Kyle," said NU head coach Kyle Dezotell. "While Kyle's play on the field has dramatically improved over the course of his four years at Norwich, his academic excellence has always remained consistently exceptional. He is very deserving of this honor, and I am particularly proud of him for this award. Kyle is a great model of what our program and the university are trying to represent."
