PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Guitian had three huge performances this week, averaging 28.33 points, 17.33 rebounds, and 4.33 assists per game.  Guitian just missed a triple-double against JWU with 32 points, 21 boards, and 9 assists.  He also had a 31 point and 18 rebound showing against Suffolk, and a 22 point 13 board night against Rivier. Brian Small     Suffolk     SR     Stoughton, MA
2 weeks removed from appendectomy surgery, Brian Small led Suffolk to a 112-107 victory over Lasell College on Saturday. Small had 38 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists to guide the Rams to the win. In his first game back on Thursday against Mt. Ida, Small also collected 22 points and 14 rebounds. (Points 60     Rebounds 25     Assists 12)

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Lamonte Thomas     Johnson & Wales     Fr     Providence, R.I.
Lamonte helped JWU to a 2-1 week by averaging 29.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per contest.  In the win over Albertus, notched 34 points and followed that up with a 25 point, eight assist, six rebound performance to lift the Wildcats over Norwich.  (Points 88     Rebounds 17     Assists 17)
