MEN'S BASKETBALL

CO-PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Jose Guitian     Lasell     Sr     Miami, FL

Guitian played spectacular in a 2-0 week for the Lasers, averaging 28 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game.  Guitian started with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 blocks and 3 assists in a victory over Mount Ida, and finished the week with a 37 point, 13 rebound performance against Suffolk. (Points 56     Rebounds 19     Assists 4)   

Bryan Rouse     Emerson     Jr     East Greenwich, RI

In a 2-0 week that kept the Lions' regular season title hopes alive, Rouse averaged 25 points and 8.5 rebounds on .783 shooting from the field and 76% shooting from the line.  He also added a block and two steals.  He had 32 points and 10 rebounds in Emerson's victory over Johnson & Wales University, and was a perfect 8-8 from the field, 1-1 from three point land, and 1-1 from the free throw line in Emerson's 73-57 win over St. Joseph's (Maine) College. ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Isaiah Duke     Emmanuel     Fr     Albany, NY

Rookie guard Isaiah Duke led the Saints to a 2-0 week, shooting 16-23 (69.6%) from the field and 7-9 (77.8%) from the free throw line.  The freshman scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the Saints over Rivier and also scored 16 points in 19 minutes to help the Saints top Norwich. (Points 39     Rebounds 12     Assists 2)
