GNAC Men's Basketball Semifinals Set

Top-seeded Lasell College and third-seeded St. Joe’s of Maine College are set to host the 2009 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament semifinals on Thursday. Seventh-seeded Albertus upset second-seeded Emerson to advance to the semifinals and will travel to St. Joe’s of Maine. Fourth-seeded Emmanuel College defeated fifth-seeded Johnson & Wales to earn the last spot in the semifinals. The Saints will travel to Lasell College. Tip-off time for both games is set for 7 p.m.

Thursday's semifinal winners will advance to the 2009 GNAC championship game, which will be played Saturday (2/28) at the home court of the highest-seeded team.
