Emerson's Jeremy Shannon Earns Spot on D3Hoops.com Team of the Week
Emerson College men's basketball guard Jeremy Shannon (Jr.,
Lowell, Mass.) continued his amazing early season run by being
named to the DIIIHoops.com Team of the Week and being selected as
the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the
week ending November 30.
In Emerson's only game of the week, a road loss to undefeated
Babson College, Shannon scored 42 points on .682 shooting from the
field (15-22) including 2-4 from three point range, and .909
shooting from the line. He also had nine assists making him
responsible for 60 of Emerson's 89 points in the game.
This is the second consecutive week that Shannon has received GNAC
Player of the Week Honors. Shannon was one of only five players
nationally in Division III to be named to the D3Hoops.com team.
