Mount Ida College is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. As a Division III school, Mount Ida views intercollegiate competition as an integral part of the educational process and seeks to maintain a healthy balance between academics and sports. Athletics play a major role in the Mount Ida College experience. On the field or in the gym, Mount Ida athletes develop motivation, discipline, leadership and the capacity for teamwork.
