Player of the Week
Josh Hogan (Falmouth, Maine), Senior,
University of Southern Maine
Hogan lead USM to a second place finish at the 2012 GNAC
Championship earning individual medalist honors along the way.
Hogan totaled a 154 (78-76). His second round 76 was a tournament
low for the day and helped move him from sixth to first. It is the
third time this season that Hogan has
medaled.
Rookie of the Week
Jonathan Cooper (Berkley, Mass.), Freshman, Rhode
Island College
Cooper laced second among a field of 45 golfers with a
two-day score of 156 (77, 79; +12) to lead RIC to its second
consecutive GNAC Championship as the Anchormen combined to shoot a
two-day total of 639 to capture the championship by eight strokes
over the University of Southern Maine.
