Falcons' senior Jamal Howard (West Haven, Conn.) made history on Wednesday, Oct. 12 as he scored his 43rd career goal to become the all-time leading goals scorer in Albertus Magnus men's soccer history.

Down 2-0 to Coast Guard in a non-conference match, Howard scored the Falcons' first goal of the afternoon in the 55th minute of play to surpass Jay Hunter's (1992-95) former record of 42 career goals.

Howard added his second goal of the contest and team-leading 14th of the season in the 92nd minute of play as he tallied the game-winning goal in overtime to give the Falcons' a 3-2 win.

For the forward, it was his fifth game-winning goal of the year as he leads the Falcons with 32 points, 14 goals and 81 shots on the season. Currently, he leads the Great Northeast Athletic Conference with 14 goals scored and is ranked in the top-35 in the nation with that tally.
