GNAC Women’s Tennis Weekly Honors: October 18

Savannah Mosser (Emerson College) and Lacey Russell (Emerson College) have both received the GNAC Women’s Tennis Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Lacey Russell, Emerson College, FR, Roswell, GA

Lacey Russell has seen great success so far this season by maintaining an undefeated record.  This past week, Russell was undefeated in singles and doubles .  In her first three singles matches, Russell was undefeated and with doubles partner Laura Miley, they defeated their opponents in straight sets, 8-2, 8-2, 8-1, 8-0.  In 65 total games this week, Russell managed to come away with 60-5 record.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Savannah Mosser, Emerson College, FR, Malibu, CA

Savannah Mosser won her two singles matches of the week in straight sets.  As she was teamed with three different doubles partners, Mosser  still won 24 of 29 total matches.  The Malibu native has maintained her undefeated streak in dual matches in both singles and doubles.
