GNAC Women’s Soccer Weekly Honors: October 25th

Amber Di Nucci (Emmanuel), Jamie Harris (Lasell), and Elizabeth Stickley (Lasell) have earned GNAC Women’s Soccer Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Amber Di Nucci, Emmanuel, Sr., New Bedford, MA

Emmanuel’s senior captain, Amber Di Nucci, led the Saints to a 2-1 week, scoring a goal in each of the three games this week. Di Nucci’s goal against Curry on Thursday night was the 50th of her collegiate career. Di Nucci is now Emmanuel's 2nd all-time leading scorer, as well as the Saints' all-time assist leader.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jamie Harris, Lasell, Fr., Lynnfield, MA

Lasell’s rookie freshman, Jamie Harris, produced her third hat trick of the season in a 3-1 victory over GNAC foe Simmons College on Saturday. The Lynnfield, MA native scored first in the 12th minute to take an early lead for the Lasers, and then broke a 1-1 tie in the 43rd minute. Harris added another goal for the Lasers edge in the 68th minute of the contest to complete her hat trick.

GOALIE OF THE WEEK

Elizabeth Stickley, Lasell, Jr., Mashpee, MA

Lasell’s junior Elizabeth Stickley completed her second solo shutout of the season. The junior earned the shutout in a key 1-0 victory over second seeded St. Joseph CT on Tuesday earning six saves in the GNAC contest.
