Lamonte Thomas, Johnson & Wales junior guard, averaged 42.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists on the week. Thomas narrowly missed a triple double with 38 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in the conference battle against Rivier. In the Wildcats’ win on the road in another conference match up against Lasell, Thomas tallied 47 points and added five assists and four boards. This marks the second time this season that Thomas has received GNAC Player of the Week honors.

Rivier’s Tom Poitras missed only one shot from the floor all week in three contests. In the conference game against Emerson, Poitras had his best offensive game of his career with a 20 point showing.
