2010 GNAC Softball Tournament Schedule

GNAC Softball Playoff Schedule Announced

 The Raiders clinched first place with an outstanding conference record of 23-1, and overall record of 30-2. The Raiders pulled through a key victory tonight over St. Joe’s ME to obtain the top spot in the tournament. The 2010 team has posted the highest record in school history.

St. Joseph’s College (ME) earned a second place finish with a conference record of 21-3, and an overall record of 28-8. The Monks gave the Raiders their only conference loss of the regular season in Tuesday night's game.

Emerson earned their third place seeding with a conference record of 20-4 and an overall record of 25-9. The Lions had a huge win on the road against second seeded St. Joseph’s Maine to deliver the Monks two of their three losses in the conference.

Simmons took a fourth place finish with a record of 16-8 in the conference and 21-10 overall. Earlier in the season, the Sharks put up a tough fight against top seeded Rivier which turned into an 8 innning game.

The top four teams in the eight team tournament each receive a bye through single elimination. Rounding out the final four spots in the GNAC tournament are #5 Lasell (15-9, 19-19-1), #6 St. Joseph’s (CT) (14-10, 22-15), #7 Mount Ida (10-14, 17-18) and #8 Norwich (9-15, 12-22).
