Fisher Cats To Host Rivier College In 7-Inning Exhibition Game On April 6!

For the first time, the Fisher Cats will play a seven-inning exhibition game when they take on Rivier College at 6:00pm on April 6, 2010. Gates open at 4:30pm for Season Ticket Holders and 5:00pm to the general public. Also that night, Laura from Rock 101’s The Morning Buzz will be hosting a Red Sox/Yankees rivalry party in the Samuel Adams Bar & Grill, where fans are invited to watch that night’s Sox/Yankees game, a 7:10pm start time, on the 11 high-definition big screen TVs.

"We are excited to introduce the 2010 Fisher Cats to our fans with this exhibition game and to give the Rivier College baseball team an unbelievable chance to play at this beautiful stadium against future Major League players," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "And no matter what side you're on, everyone has an opinion when it comes to Red Sox/Yankees, so we look forward to partnering with Rock 101 in the comfort of the Samuel Adams Bar & Grill for a fun night of wall-to-wall baseball."

"This is a wonderful opportunity for our team, and we thank the New Hampshire Fisher Cats for inviting us to compete in this exhibition game at Merchantsauto.com Stadium," said Rivier baseball coach Rob Ciarlo. "We see this not only as a dream-come-true for our players to take the field against the Toronto Blue Jays' top prospects but also as a fun way to showcase our growing program in what we hope will become an annual tradition."

"We're ready for the return of baseball and excited to see our community partnership with the Fisher Cats allow us to be part of such a fun event," said Clear Channel Vice President and General Manager Joe Graham. "There's nothing quite like a Red Sox/Yankees game, so we look forward to seeing everyone for a great night at the Samuel Adams Bar & Grill."

Admission to the game is free, gates open at 5:00 PM to the general public, so come enjoy a free night of baseball at Merchantsauto.com Stadium on April 6th.
